I’ll be making my Italian debut in on of my favorite Shakespearean tragedies, “Julius Caesar,” playing the indomitable Marc Antony with Italian / American theatre company Teatro Delle Due!
We’ll be staying in the historic northern Italian town of Reggio Emilia for seven weeks, and our performances will take place in Reggio Emilia, Bologna and Modena.
To say the prospect of living and working in Italy is exciting is an understatement, especially when we’ll be performing Julius Caesar surrounded by the ruins and echos of the Roman Empire itself! Our troupe will also be visiting schools across the region and will be giving in-person workshops to Italians of all ages about Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, and what it is to be a professional actor both in Italy and the US.
This would not be possible without the peerless talents and wonderful essences of Valeria Bottazzi, Adam R. Deremer, Ollie Rasini, Kevin Patrick McGuire, Cristian Levrini, Cecilia Gabbi and my fellow cast-mates. All of these people I love dearly, and look forward to presenting something truly special in this magical land of Italy.
