I can't seem to get enough of Taming of the Shrew! I'm off today to Clarksville, TN, to perform as Hortensio at the Roxy Regional Theatre! 

Taming will be running in rep along with the world premiere The Magnificent Ambersons, where I'll be playing Wilbur Minafer.

I've only preformed a few of Shakespeare's plays multiple times at this point (Hamlet, King Lear, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing) and I'm excited to add Taming to that list! I've always found that my revisiting a play with a new cast, fresh eyes, and a different role I always discover something unique about the play. 

The last production of Taming I was involved in heavily used the framing device of Christopher Sly, who has been cut from this version. It will be interesting to see how the audience reacts to the events of the play without the framing device existing to soften some of the harsher edges. 

As for Ambersons, I always relish the chance to appear in a world premiere!
